Welcome to Digg Mama

I believe family, community and connection are what really matters and I use my platform to bring all those things to the fore. We celebrate the highs and lows of life of which there are many.

I want to welcome you and invite you along on the journey. You can expect a journey full of fun, style, food, work, craic and honest, straight talking, real life stories from me and my community.

A Growing Platform

My love for business and social media flourished. My online visibility and the impact that was having on the growth of my bricks and mortar store, attracted the business community quite quickly.

In 2017 I founded Digg For Success in order to help businesses grow their brand awareness online. I ran workshops in my shop at night and events throughout Mid Ulster, helping educate others on how to stand out online.

Using Social Media, as part of a business marketing strategy, takes hard work and

a lot of time and effort. I wanted to shine a light on this and give the business owners the recognition they deserved.

Therefore, in 2019 I co-founded the Northern Ireland Social Media Awards with Niamh Taylor of Digital Twenty Four

When Covid-19 hit, I had to make extremely big decisions for my business and overall my mental health. These were decisions I didn’t make lightly, decisions that broke my heart yet also made me feel so free. I closed Digg Childrenswear in 2020 and focused my efforts on Digg For Success.

I launched The Digg Social Academy, which trains people on business and online content creation. I founded the Digg Podcast to share straightforward and practical business and life advice to people all over the world.

With a supportive and very active community already built on my Digg Childrenswear

social platforms, I decided to change the handle to Digg Mama and use it as an influencer marketing platform, working

closely with businesses and my family to create a lasting impact for the brands

and for my community.

I found myself, throughout my years in business, wanting to help those less

fortunate and as my platforms grew I knew I could use that for a greater purpose.

So I founded Digg Deep For Kids which is

now a registered charity with a thriving board and has raised and bought almost

a million pounds worth of essentials for families living in poverty.

At the start of 2024, the realisation of the amount of balls I was trying to juggle became very apparent. With a heavy heart, I decided to step away from

The Northern Ireland Social Media Awards with the knowledge that my amazing co-founder, Niamh Taylor, would continue the legacy of something we both started.

People often say things happen for a reason. I firmly believe with the Digg Community

that I have grown over the years, I have found a way to fulfil my passion for helping people in life and business in so many different ways.

My Story So Far

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2005 and while I loved that career and helping people, I realised that the entrepreneurial and creative bug was part of my DNA and the urge to open my own business wouldn’t go away.

So in 2008, I launched my own children’s clothing store. As you can imagine, at twenty four years old, I had no money. However, I was in a fortunate position where my Daddy offered to help me get started in business. He drives a digger so when I was trying to find a name for the shop I felt like I wanted to give a little nod to him for all of his support so I named the shop Digg Childrenswear. Based in Dungannon County Tyrone, Digg Childrenswear grew and in turn a strong community.
